GDPR AI

GDPR AI

A prototype "Legal-AI" for the GDPR: we processed 1,690 EDPB documents plus the full GDPR text into ~13,566 searchable chunks, stored in a FAISS vector index, and use a fine-tuned Zephyr-7b-beta LLM in a RAG setup to retrieve relevant chunks and generate short, sourced answers. The system runs on a single NVIDIA A100 (40 GB), shows initial results within ~60 minutes of setup, and currently returns responses in ~12–22s; further preprocessing and tuning are planned.

"I don't want to live in a world where there's no privacy and therefore no room for intellectual exploration and creativity. — Edward Snowden"

"When you say, 'I don't care about the right to privacy because I have nothing to hide,' that is no different than saying, 'I don't care about freedom of speech because I have nothing to say.' — Edward Snowden"

"The right to be let alone is indeed the beginning of all freedom. — William O. Douglas"

"Historically, privacy was almost implicit, because it was hard to find and gather information. But in the digital world, whether it's digital cameras or satellites or just what you click on, we need to have more explicit rules — not just for governments but for private companies. — Bill Gates"

@imagcon

Also nix um hochsicherheits-Umgebungen aufzubauen.

For me it’s the combination of my old iPod + new (bigger) battery + modded SD card + Rockbox, and it just works…
Started off as a weekend project, but made it to a regularly used accessory

Just found another (not so) hidden gem for self-hosting: http://databasus.com/

Great tool for backing up databases locally and to remotes. Just got it up and running in less than 15 min, super cool!!

Klappt echt gut.

Nachteil: die begrenzte Auswahl an kompatiblen Geräten…
